The Orissa Minerals Development Company Limited (OMDC) has disclosed that two Special Leave Petitions filed by the company against Jai Balaji Industries Ltd (JBIL) before the Supreme Court of India were dismissed on 08.05.2026. The SLPs (Diary Nos. 73842/2025 and 73816/2025) challenged a December 2025 judgment by the Calcutta High Court Division Bench in FMA 939/2012 and FMA 941/2012. The Supreme Court found no sufficient grounds to interfere with the lower court's ruling and dismissed both petitions. OMDC received the order on 13.05.2026. The company was represented by the Additional Solicitor General and a legal team during the proceedings.
