Orkla India reported FY26 revenue of ₹2,509 crore, up 4.8% year-on-year, with EBITDA growing 7.0% to ₹424 crore. EBITDA margin expanded to 16.9% from 16.6% in the prior year, supported by volume growth of 5.9% which was the highest in 4 years. For Q4 FY26, revenue grew 5.0% to ₹626 crore despite geopolitical headwinds and temporary disruption in Kerala. The spices business, which contributes around 66% of the company, grew 6.1% with domestic growth (excluding Kerala) at 11.1%. PAT before exceptional items stood at ₹298 crore for FY26. The company also highlighted strategic initiatives including distribution restructuring in Kerala and digital commerce acceleration under Project Bolt.
The margin expansion and strong volume growth signal operational efficiency improvements. Shareholders can view this as a positive outcome, though the Kerala market disruption and West Asia conflict near fiscal year-end introduce near-term uncertainty.
