Techindia Nirman Ltd, which is currently under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), held its 7th meeting of the Committee of Creditors on 2nd June 2025 through audio-visual means. Three agenda items were discussed: the minutes of the 6th CoC meeting were noted, financial proposals received from the Resolution Applicant were discussed, and a key decision was taken to extend the CIRP period by an additional 90 days, which was approved by 100% majority of the CoC members. The disclosure was filed by the Resolution Professional, Vallabh Narayandas Sawana, under SEBI LODR regulations. This is a post-facto intimation of the meeting outcomes to the stock exchanges (BSE and NSE).
The 90-day CIRP extension signals that the insolvency resolution is taking longer than originally planned, which is generally negative for shareholders as it delays any potential recovery and keeps the stock under trading uncertainty. However, the 100% creditor approval and active discussion of resolution proposals suggest the process is progressing toward a potential resolution plan.
