The board of Oswal Yarns approved the unaudited standalone financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Total income from operations rose to Rs 28.74 lakhs from Rs 21.88 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 31%. Net sales also increased to Rs 28.29 lakhs versus Rs 21.88 lakhs year-on-year. However, the company continued to post a loss before tax and a net loss of Rs 3.08 lakhs for the quarter, though this was narrower than the Rs 8.83 lakhs loss reported in Q1 FY25. Basic and diluted EPS stood at Rs (0.07), improving from Rs (0.22) in the same quarter last year. Statutory auditor Subash Vipan & Co issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis matters.
Revenue growth is a positive signal, showing top-line recovery, but the company remains loss-making at the bottom line. Shareholders should note that while losses are shrinking, profitability has not yet been achieved, keeping the stock in a turnaround phase rather than a confirmed earnings story.
