Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
SW Investments Ltd, an NBFC, has submitted its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025), approved by the Board on 5 August 2025. Total income rose sharply to ₹8.73 lakhs from just ₹0.56 lakhs in Q1 FY25, driven mainly by other income. Total expenses fell to ₹2.47 lakhs (from ₹8.17 lakhs), yielding a profit before tax of about ₹6.21 lakhs versus ₹0.56 lakhs a year ago. Net profit came in around ₹5.65 lakhs (vs ₹0.13 lakhs), translating to basic EPS of ₹0.52 (not annualised). Other comprehensive income showed a strong gain of ₹125.73 lakhs from fair valuation of investments, lifting total comprehensive income to ₹130.38 lakhs. Statutory auditors Bagaria & Co. LLP issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Short-term: sharp jump in profits looks impressive but the base was extremely small, so the headline numbers are not meaningful at scale. Shareholders should watch the investment portfolio fair-value gains (₹125.73 lakhs) which drove most of the comprehensive income — these are mark-to-market and can reverse.
