On the reaction day the stock moved 5.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 5.6 pts more than its Other Textile Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Oxford Industries filed a scheme with BSE to reduce its paid-up share capital by about 99 percent, from Rs. 5.94 crore to Rs. 5.94 lakh, to write off accumulated losses of around Rs. 12.95 crore. The cut applies pro-rata across all shareholders, so percentage holdings stay the same. No cash is paid to shareholders and creditors are not affected. The scheme needs shareholder approval and NCLT sanction.
Share count drops sharply pro-rata but each shareholders percentage stake stays same. Awaiting NCLT and shareholder approval before it becomes effective.
