P. B. Films Limited filed its audited results for FY25 with the BSE. Revenue from operations stayed flat at ₹15.00 lakhs year-on-year, but total revenue (including other income) nearly doubled to ₹37.44 lakhs vs ₹18.79 lakhs, driven entirely by a jump in other income. Total expenses rose sharply to ₹36.09 lakhs from ₹16.53 lakhs, mainly due to a spike in 'other expenses'. As a result, profit after tax fell to ₹0.83 lakhs from ₹1.18 lakhs, with EPS at just ₹0.01. The balance sheet shows total assets shrinking to ₹1,244.38 lakhs (from ₹1,662.41 lakhs) and accumulated losses widening in 'other equity' to ₹(458.27) lakhs. The auditor, Beriwal & Associates, issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, and the company also filed its declaration of unmodified opinion.
For shareholders, the picture is weak: core business revenue is stagnant, profits have declined, and the company carries negative reserves of over ₹4.58 crore. However, borrowings were sharply cut (from ₹653.74 lakhs to ₹237.68 lakhs) and a clean audit opinion was issued, offering some reassurance on transparency.
