Pakka Limited held an investor call covering Q4 FY25 and Q1 FY26 results. Q1 FY26 revenue grew but PBT declined due to lower Net Sales Realisation (NSR) and reduced other income (interest from FDs now deployed into the project). The expansion of Paper Machine 3 and the Pulp Mill at Jagrati has commenced, and financial closure has been completed with three banks including Axis Bank. Management shared a 2030 vision of producing 500,000 tonnes/year (currently ~50,000 tonnes) targeting ~$1 billion in revenue. In the Food Services segment, the company is targeting a 10-15% market share of India's ~$425 million disposable tableware market, representing a 600+ crore revenue opportunity. For the Americas business, a $15 million moulded products facility is planned in Guatemala with Rothschild engaged for capital raise, $25 million already under LOI from Latam Capital, with another $12 million in process.
Near-term: margin pressure persists as PBT dropped on weaker NSR and ramp-up costs. Medium-to-long term: significant capex-driven expansion (Jagrati and Guatemala) offers large growth runway but comes with execution risk and potential equity dilution. 91.06% of promoter shares have been released from pledge, which is a positive governance signal.
