Panacea Biotec files appeals against tribunal awards on labour disputes

Panacea Biotec received four awards from the Industrial Tribunal in Mohali in March 2026 related to labour disputes dating from 2014 onwards. The Tribunal set aside the transfer of 23 workmen with full back wages, awarded a wage revision, and ordered reinstatement of terminated workers with 50% back wages. The company has filed appeals against three awards at the Punjab and Haryana High Court and is filing the fourth appeal. Management believes the awards are challengeable and does not foresee any material adverse impact on financials or operations.
