Paradeep Phosphates reported FY2026 standalone revenue of Rs. 21,826 crore, up 28.7% from Rs. 16,959 crore in FY2025. Profit after tax grew 50.4% to Rs. 997 crore from Rs. 663 crore. The significant growth is partly due to the merger with Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (MCFL), effective retrospectively from April 1, 2024. The company has restated prior year figures to include MCFL results. Auditors BSR & Co. LLP issued an unmodified opinion with an Emphasis of Matter highlighting the restatement treatment. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 1.50 per share. An exceptional item of Rs. 39.42 crore was recorded for incremental costs due to new labour codes. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. -1,012 crore for the year, mainly due to working capital buildup.
Strong financial performance with 50%+ PAT growth driven by the MCFL merger integration. The restatement and negative operating cash flow may raise concerns about cash management, but the clean audit opinion with unmodified rating is positive.
