Q2 FY27 revenue rose 7.2% year on year to Rs 7,364 crore, but EBITDA, including other income, fell 38.3% to Rs 431 crore and net profit dropped 64.1% to Rs 122 crore. H1 sales reached 2 million tonnes, while H1 net profit fell 21.8% to Rs 516 crore. West Asia disruption raised freight and input costs, squeezing margins. Net debt rose to Rs 937 crore. The Paradeep phosphoric acid expansion to 700,000 tonnes a year is on track.
Revenue growth did not translate into profit as input costs rose and margins fell. Higher net debt may weigh on sentiment until expansion pays off.
