Paragon Finance's Board approved Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26 results on October 28, 2025. Total income from operations rose to Rs 370.62 lakhs in H1 FY26, up about 41% from Rs 262.68 lakhs in H1 FY25, boosted by strong other income of Rs 245.14 lakhs. Net profit for H1 grew roughly 37% YoY to Rs 196 lakhs (vs Rs 143.12 lakhs), with basic EPS of Rs 4.61 versus Rs 3.37. However, Q2 standalone profit slipped to Rs 56.27 lakhs from Rs 139.73 lakhs in Q1 FY26, and total Q2 income fell to Rs 151 lakhs from Rs 219.62 lakhs quarter-on-quarter. Net cash from operating activities turned negative at Rs -7.41 lakhs for the half-year, dragging down closing cash and bank balances to Rs 77.82 lakhs. The statutory auditor (Mandawewala & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Strong year-on-year revenue and profit growth in H1 is a positive signal for shareholders, but the sharp sequential drop in Q2 profit and negative operating cash flow may temper enthusiasm. Watch for sustained profitability and improvement in cash generation in upcoming quarters.
