Paramount Communications (wires & cables) reported audited FY25 results with standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 1,55,665.82 lakhs, up about 48.6% from Rs. 1,04,727.52 lakhs in FY24. Consolidated revenue grew to Rs. 1,57,560.21 lakhs from Rs. 1,07,060.19 lakhs. However, standalone PAT rose only marginally to Rs. 8,672.03 lakhs (from Rs. 8,538.67 lakhs) and diluted EPS declined to Rs. 2.85 from Rs. 3.28, reflecting margin compression as material and other expenses scaled faster than revenue growth. The statutory auditor (P. Bholusaria & Co.) issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The Board also appointed Mr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava (5-year term) and Mrs. Anjali Verma (3-year term) as Independent Directors effective July 1, 2025, while Mr. Narendra Kumar Goyal resigned due to health reasons. Cost Auditors, Internal Auditors were re-appointed and a new Secretarial Auditor was appointed.
Strong top-line growth (~48%) but muted profit growth and EPS decline suggest cost pressures and margin squeeze, which may temper positive sentiment. Operating cash flow turned strongly positive (Rs. 102+ cr vs outflow last year), strengthening the balance sheet and reducing debt, which is a supportive signal for shareholders.
