The board, at its April 30, 2025 meeting, approved a sub-division/split of equity shares from face value Rs. 10 to Rs. 5 (each share becoming 2), subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot. It also recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 per equity share (post-split) for FY 2024-25. FY25 standalone revenue from operations grew 43.6% YoY to Rs. 33,385 lakhs, while profit after tax nearly doubled to Rs. 6,506 lakhs (vs Rs. 3,422 lakhs in FY24). The Optics & Optronic Systems segment drove growth, with revenue jumping from Rs. 6,939 lakhs to Rs. 17,737 lakhs. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the results; during the year the company raised Rs. 13,518 lakhs via QIP and divested its Paras Green UAV subsidiary.
The 1:2 stock split should make shares more affordable for retail investors and improve liquidity, while strong profit growth signals healthy business momentum. The small dividend reflects a conservative payout, with surplus cash deployed via QIP and subsidiary divestments.
