Parle Industries Limited has informed the stock exchange about the forfeiture of 2,26,50,000 equity shares after eligible shareholders failed to pay the First and Final Call money by the deadline of 9 July 2025. The Board had approved this forfeiture at its meeting on 10 July 2025, following a call money notice issued on 20 June 2025. The company has now sent formal forfeiture notices to all defaulting shareholders, informing them that the unpaid shares (face value Rs. 10 each) are deemed the property of the company. The forfeited shares may later be sold, reissued, or otherwise dealt with by the Board as it deems fit.
This is largely an administrative/regulatory step and does not directly impact the share price, but it reduces the equity share capital to the extent of 2.26 crore forfeited shares. Defaulting shareholders lose all rights on those shares, while remaining shareholders are unaffected.
