Parsvnath Developers Limited has been admitted into Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) by NCLT New Delhi. The admission was triggered by Sammaan Capital Limited (financial creditor, formerly ARCIL) claiming a default of Rs. 452.34 crore. Mr. Manoj Kumar Anand has been appointed as Interim Resolution Professional (IRP). The admission order was passed on 30.04.2026 but uploaded on NCLT website only on 12.05.2026. The company has challenged this by filing an appeal under Section 37 of the Arbitration Act before Delhi High Court. Pending this appeal outcome, the IRP has been restrained from taking any precipitative steps regarding the company and its assets. This is the latest in a prolonged dispute between the parties involving multiple earlier insolvency petitions, arbitration proceedings, and settlement attempts.
This admission marks a critical stage in Parsvnath's financial distress, signaling potential restructuring, asset sales, or even liquidation. The temporary restraint on IRP actions provides the company a brief window, but the outcome of the pending arbitration and appeal will determine the company's fate. Shareholders face extreme uncertainty as the resolution process could significantly dilute or wipe out equity value.
