Pasupati Acrylon reported total revenue of Rs. 1,010.16 crore for FY26, a significant jump from Rs. 621.43 crore in FY25 (62.5% growth), driven primarily by the new Ethanol segment that started operations in March 2025. However, profit before tax declined to Rs. 35.88 crore from Rs. 47.72 crore, and profit after tax fell to Rs. 26.28 crore from Rs. 35.37 crore. Finance costs more than doubled to Rs. 12.37 crore due to increased debt for the ethanol plant. EPS stood at Rs. 2.95 versus Rs. 3.97 last year. The company reported an exceptional item of Rs. 0.57 crore related to past service cost from new legislation. Operating cashflow remained positive at Rs. 51.50 crore. The board also approved expanding ethanol capacity from 180 KL/day to 240 KL/day with an investment of Rs. 25 crore.
Revenue growth was strong but profitability declined due to higher finance costs from debt taken for the ethanol plant. The expansion plans may further increase debt burden. However, the clean audit opinion and positive operating cashflow indicate no immediate financial stress.
