On the reaction day the stock moved 5.3 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 4.6 pts less than its Edible Oil peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Year on year, standalone Q2 revenue rose 20.95% to ₹9,798.84 crore and net profit rose 66.5% to ₹516.70 crore. Operating earnings margin edged up to 6.16%. H1 revenue rose 21.7% and net profit rose 125.9%, but margin fell from 7.40% to 5.05%. Consolidated operating cash flow was negative ₹584.18 crore. Growth includes the acquired Home and Personal Care unit; prior per-share figures were restated for the 2-for-1 bonus.
Strong quarterly growth may support the stock, but the lower half-year margin and negative operating cash flow may cap gains.
