The Board approved unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, on both a standalone and consolidated basis (consolidated with three wholly-owned subsidiaries: Paul Merchants Finance Pvt Ltd, PML Realtors Pvt Ltd, and Paul Infotech Pvt Ltd). Statutory auditors issued Limited Review Reports with an unmodified (clean) opinion and no qualifications. Results were audited by the Audit Committee on November 11, 2025 before Board approval. No exceptional or extraordinary items were reported, and there were no changes in accounting policies. Key corporate actions during the quarter: the Company received an interim dividend of about Rs. 15.01 crore from wholly-owned subsidiary Paul Merchants Finance Pvt Ltd, and the second tranche of consideration (about Rs. 77.49 crore) was received by PMFPL under the Business Transfer Agreement with L&T Finance Limited for the sale of its lending business. The subsidiary also discontinued its Gold Loan operations.
Profitability has come under pressure — consolidated profit attributable to owners fell sharply versus the year-ago period even as the auditors gave a clean opinion. Short-term stock reaction may be negative due to weaker earnings, but the clean audit, Rs. 15 crore subsidiary dividend inflow, and ongoing L&T Finance BTA realisations provide some support.
