Pavna Industries' board approved its unaudited Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results, which show a sharp year-on-year revenue decline. Standalone revenue from operations fell to about Rs. 5,810 lakhs from Rs. 7,695 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a drop of roughly 24%. The company swung to a standalone loss of about Rs. 118 lakhs (from a profit of Rs. 226 lakhs a year ago), partly impacted by an exceptional item of Rs. 249 lakhs. On the consolidated side, profit attributable to owners fell to about Rs. 210 lakhs from Rs. 224 lakhs. The board also approved a 1:10 stock split, reducing face value from Rs. 10 to Re. 1 per share, with the record date set for September 1, 2025. Additionally, the Audit, Nomination & Remuneration, and CSR committees were reconstituted, and M/s D. Sagar & Associates was re-appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26–FY30).
Weak Q1 numbers — falling revenue and a standalone loss — are negative for near-term sentiment, though the stock split should improve liquidity and affordability for retail investors. The auditor reference to a 'predecessor auditor' for prior-year comparatives indicates a recent change in statutory auditors, which investors should track.
