PDP Shipping & Projects' board has approved the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for FY25 (year ended March 31, 2025). Revenue from operations grew about 35.6% year-on-year, rising from Rs. 2,051.60 lakhs to Rs. 2,781.71 lakhs. However, profitability weakened sharply, with basic EPS falling from Rs. 11.36 in FY24 to Rs. 5.51 in FY25, indicating a significant drop in profit after tax despite higher revenue. Statutory auditor Bilimoria Mehta & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results, and the CFO filed the standard declaration under Regulation 33(3)(d) confirming this. The company also appointed new internal auditors (M/s Abhishek M Agrawal & Co.) and a secretarial auditor (M/s M Sancheti & Associates) for FY26. This is PDP Shipping's first set of audited results filed after its March 18, 2025 IPO on the BSE SME platform.
Strong top-line growth is a positive sign, but the sharp fall in EPS signals margin pressure and weaker profitability, which may concern investors. The clean audit opinion and recent IPO provide credibility, though shareholders should note rising expenses outpaced revenue, compressing margins.
