Peninsula Land reported a standalone loss after tax of Rs 18.17 crore in Q2 FY26 versus profit of Rs 8.66 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations fell to Rs 37.24 crore from Rs 52.32 crore. The company booked a Rs 11.37 crore exceptional loss on impairment of loans to subsidiaries and joint ventures. The auditor issued a qualified conclusion citing inability to assess the carrying value of a Rs 96.15 crore exposure in HIPDPL, a joint venture now under NCLT insolvency proceedings. Cash flow from operations was positive at Rs 7.96 crore.
Weak results with widening losses, a sizeable impairment, and auditor concerns over a Rs 96 crore exposure under insolvency. Near-term outlook remains challenging for shareholders.
