Petronet LNG Q1 FY27 standalone PAT rose 33% to Rs 1,132.72 cr, helped by a smaller impairment charge of Rs 100.86 cr vs Rs 138.40 cr a year ago. Revenue from operations fell 53% to Rs 5,554 cr as no LNG cargo was loaded under the Qatar SPA due to Middle East conflict Force Majeure. EPS stood at Rs 7.55 vs Rs 5.67. Auditor flagged UoP dues recoverability (Rs 312 cr net of provision) and vessel owner claims rising to Rs 348 cr with arbitration underway.
Profit growth driven by lower impairment, not core operations. Revenue hit by Middle East supply disruption. Vessel claims and UoP dues remain key risks.
