Aarti Industries posted FY25 standalone revenue from operations (gross) of Rs 8,079 Cr, up ~15.7% from Rs 6,984 Cr in FY24, but net profit fell ~18.5% to Rs 340 Cr from Rs 417 Cr. Consolidated revenue grew ~14% to Rs 7,271 Cr while consolidated net profit dropped to Rs 331 Cr from Rs 416 Cr. Operating margin compressed from 13.9% to 12.4% on a standalone basis, reflecting higher finance costs (Rs 275 Cr vs Rs 211 Cr) and depreciation. The board recommended a dividend of Rs 1 (20%) per share on a face value of Rs 5. Statutory auditor Gokhale & Sathe issued an un-modified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Mixed signals for shareholders: topline growth was healthy but bottomline contracted meaningfully due to margin compression and higher interest/depreciation charges, which may weigh on near-term stock sentiment despite the dividend declaration.
