Pfizer Ltd reported revenue from operations of Rs 2,519.65 crore for FY26, up 10.4% from Rs 2,281.35 crore in FY25. Net profit declined 5.9% to Rs 722.43 crore from Rs 767.60 crore, impacted by exceptional items of Rs 49.16 crore (expense) versus a gain of Rs 172.81 crore in the prior year. Exceptional items include Rs 41.73 crore personnel separation costs related to the Cipla supply and marketing agreement for four brands, and Rs 7.43 crore provision for new labour codes. Operating profit before exceptional items actually grew 21.5% to Rs 1,024.83 crore. EPS declined from Rs 167.79 to Rs 157.92. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 75 per share (750%). Cash from operations was strong at Rs 967.57 crore. Auditors gave an unmodified opinion with no concerns about going concern.
Revenue growth is positive but PAT declined due to one-time charges; strong operating cashflow and generous dividend of Rs 75/share signal confidence. The stock may see mixed reaction as headline PAT decline despite solid operational performance may confuse investors.
