PH Capital Ltd reported audited results for FY25 with total income of Rs. 18,550.80 lakhs, up about 15% from Rs. 16,142.54 lakhs in FY24. However, net profit for the year dropped sharply to Rs. 785.10 lakhs from Rs. 2,012.87 lakhs in FY24, a fall of roughly 61%. Q4 FY25 was a loss-making quarter with a net loss of Rs. 670.69 lakhs versus a small loss of Rs. 51.49 lakhs in Q4 FY24. EPS for the year stood at Rs. 26.17 vs Rs. 67.09 previously. The Board did not recommend a final dividend (only the interim Rs. 0.25 per share stands). The auditor (S.P. Jain & Associates) issued an unmodified opinion. The Board also appointed new internal auditor, secretarial auditor, and an independent director, and approved a postal ballot notice.
Despite higher revenue, sharp profit erosion and a negative quarterly result signal cost pressure and weak Q4 performance. Negative operating cash flow in FY25 is a concern for shareholders, though reserves and asset base have grown. Stock may face short-term pressure given the sharp earnings decline.
