Phaarmasia Ltd reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,605.11 lakhs for Q3 FY26, up sharply from Rs 472.17 lakhs in Q3 FY25. Nine-month revenue rose to Rs 3,947.56 lakhs vs Rs 1,893.89 lakhs in the same period last year. The company swung to a net profit of Rs 1,627.27 lakhs in Q3 FY26, compared to a loss of Rs 69.94 lakhs a year earlier, largely driven by an exceptional gain of Rs 1,899.51 lakhs from the sale of land and building. Without this one-time gain, operating profit before exceptional items stood at Rs 92.06 lakhs in Q3 FY26. EPS for the quarter came in at Rs 23.84. The statutory auditor (Sathuluri & Co) issued an unmodified limited review report.
The headline profit turnaround looks impressive but is almost entirely due to a one-time property sale, not core operations. Investors should focus on the modest underlying operating profit and the sharp revenue jump, which may signal improving business activity. The stock could see short-term positive sentiment from the profit swing, but the non-recurring nature of the exceptional item limits its significance.
