Photoquip India Ltd reported weak Q2 FY26 results with total income from operations falling to ₹381.63 lakhs from ₹525.01 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a decline of about 27% year-on-year. Net profit after tax collapsed to just ₹1.41 lakhs from ₹38.31 lakhs, down nearly 96% YoY. For the half-year (H1 FY26), total income declined to ₹675.60 lakhs from ₹920.25 lakhs (-26.6%), while profit after tax dropped to ₹7.40 lakhs from ₹27.40 lakhs (-73%). Sequentially, revenue improved about 30% from Q1 FY26 (₹293.97 lakhs), but profitability fell sharply. The auditor (F P & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Sharp year-on-year revenue and profit decline signals weak business momentum, though the sequential revenue uptick from Q1 offers some cushion. Shareholders should view the near-zero quarterly profit as a concern despite the clean audit report.
