Physicswallah's wholly owned NBFC subsidiary FinZ Finance is selling its loan portfolio worth INR 95.79 crores to Auxilo Finserve, an RBI-registered NBFC. This forms a major part of FinZ's total loan book and leads to partial closure of its lending operations. The move is part of a strategic realignment to focus on the core education business and optimize capital allocation, with lending to be facilitated through third-party NBFCs going forward. FinZ only commenced operations in February 2026 and contributed 0.04 percent of total income and 1.18 percent of net worth. Transition is expected in 60 days.
Exit from direct lending sharpens focus on core education business, reducing balance sheet and credit risk exposure for the group.
