Q2 FY27 consolidated revenue fell to INR 17,018 million from INR 18,723 million; net profit dropped to INR 1,222 million from INR 4,093 million. Gross margin eased to 49% from 57%. Domestic revenue rose 19%, but agrochemical exports fell 18% amid weak demand and pricing pressure. Biologicals grew over 45% and Health Sciences 20%. Working capital improved by 18 days, releasing INR 2,981 million cash; management expects margins to normalise.
Lower exports and margin compression hurt near term, but domestic and new-business growth plus INR 2,981 million cash release support the outlook.
