Pidilite Industries' Board approved audited financial results for FY25, with statutory auditor B S R & Co. LLP issuing an unmodified (clean) opinion. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations grew about 8% to Rs. 12,072.70 crore, while profit after tax rose around 15% to Rs. 2,073.83 crore, taking basic EPS to Rs. 40.77 (vs Rs. 35.39 last year). On a consolidated basis, revenue grew about 6% to Rs. 13,140.31 crore and PAT grew nearly 20% to Rs. 2,096.17 crore, with basic EPS at Rs. 40.82. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 20 per equity share of Re. 1 face value, subject to shareholder approval at the 56th AGM. The company also reported exceptional items of Rs. 20.16 crore (standalone) and Rs. 24.92 crore (consolidated), mainly an impairment loss of Rs. 17.32 crore on a loan to an associate of a wholly owned subsidiary and net tax claim adjustments related to the earlier divestment of its Brazil subsidiary.
A clean audit, healthy double-digit profit growth on a standalone basis, near-20% consolidated PAT growth, and a steady Rs. 20 dividend are supportive for shareholders, though the exceptional charge and a dip in operating cash flow (from Rs. 2,585.90 cr to Rs. 2,228.71 cr) are minor points to watch.
