Piramal Pharma's Board approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY25 ended March 31, 2025, with a clean (unmodified) audit opinion from Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP. On a standalone basis, revenue grew about 20% to Rs. 5,285.71 Cr from Rs. 4,390.11 Cr, while net profit jumped nearly 77% to Rs. 691.40 Cr from Rs. 391.22 Cr. On a consolidated basis, revenue rose to Rs. 9,151.18 Cr (up ~12% YoY) and net profit surged to Rs. 91.13 Cr from Rs. 17.82 Cr, helped by the absence of last year's exceptional items and higher share of associate profits. The Board also recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.14 per share (face value Rs. 10), subject to shareholder approval.
Strong financial performance with double-digit revenue growth and a sharp jump in profitability is positive for shareholders. The small dividend payout (Rs. 0.14 per share) suggests the company is prioritizing reinvestment over distributions. Carlyle continues to hold board representation through its new nominee, indicating the private equity investor remains committed to the company.
