Piramal Pharma's board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for FY25 (ended March 31, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations grew ~20.4% YoY to Rs. 5,285.71 cr, with net profit jumping ~76.7% to Rs. 691.40 cr (EPS of Rs. 5.22 vs Rs. 3.05). On a consolidated basis, revenue rose ~12% to Rs. 9,151.18 cr, while net profit surged from Rs. 17.82 cr to Rs. 91.13 cr. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.14 per share. Mr. Neeraj Bharadwaj (Carlyle nominee) resigned citing personal commitments, replaced by Mr. Amit Jain (also Carlyle nominee). Mr. Jairaj Purandare was reappointed as Independent Director for a second 5-year term. Auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified opinion. A Rs. 44.75 cr impairment charge was booked on an intangible asset in a subsidiary.
Strong FY25 results with sharp profit growth and healthy operating cash flow are positive for shareholders. The modest Rs. 0.14 dividend may underwhelm income-focused investors, while director reshuffle reflects Carlyle's continued board representation. Consolidated bottom-line remains thin relative to revenue, but the steep YoY profit jump signals improving profitability.
