Platinum Industries reported Q1 FY27 (quarter ended June 30, 2026) consolidated revenue of Rs. 1,089.35 million, down 5.6% from Rs. 1,153.82 million a year ago. Consolidated PAT fell 14.9% to Rs. 111.29 million. Standalone revenue rose 7.5% to Rs. 1,103.77 million but PAT dropped 23.4% to Rs. 95.84 million. Auditor PKF Sridhar and Santhanam issued a qualified conclusion on a Rs. 98.19 million insurance receivable from a July 2025 fire at subsidiary Platinum Polymers, pending insurer confirmation.
Qualified auditor opinion on unconfirmed insurance claim may pressure sentiment. Q1 profit fell about 15% YoY but fire loss was already booked as exceptional item last year.
