UPL Limited's Board approved audited consolidated and standalone financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended March 31, 2025, with B S R & Co. LLP issuing an unmodified audit opinion. Consolidated revenue from operations for FY25 stood at Rs. 46,637 crore, up about 8% from Rs. 43,098 crore in FY24. The company swung back to a consolidated profit after tax of Rs. 820 crore in FY25, compared to a loss of Rs. 1,878 crore in FY24, helped by lower exceptional items impact, improved operating performance, and share of losses from associates narrowing. Q4 FY25 revenue was Rs. 15,573 crore with a quarterly profit of Rs. 1,079 crore and EPS of Rs. 11.42. Net cash from operations surged to Rs. 10,151 crore from Rs. 2,321 crore, and the debt-equity ratio improved to 0.63x from 0.87x. The Board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 6 per share (300%) subject to shareholder approval.
A sharp turnaround from a large FY24 loss to a healthy FY25 profit, strong operating cash flows, debt reduction, and a reinstated dividend are positive signals for shareholders and likely supportive of the stock price.
