On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.3 pts less than its Housing Finance Company peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
For Q2 FY27, PNB Housing Finance said disbursements rose 60% year on year to INR 9,609 crore and the loan book grew 19% to INR 95,079 crore. Profit after tax rose 6% to INR 617 crore, gross bad loans improved to 0.91%, and net interest margin rose to 3.67%. The reported margin included one-off charges; adjusted net interest margin was 3.49%. Management kept FY27 loan growth guidance at 18% to 20%.
Positive: strong growth, better asset quality and margin support may help the stock, but one-time gains and higher funding costs limit near-term upside.
