Pokarna Limited's Board approved unaudited Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended June 30, 2025) along with AGM and e-voting details. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations fell to ₹487.16 lakhs from ₹598.47 lakhs a year ago (down ~18.6%), though the net loss narrowed to ₹(225.76) lakhs from ₹(368.13) lakhs. On a consolidated basis, revenue declined to ₹17,096.17 lakhs from ₹19,256.21 lakhs (down ~11.2%), with net profit at ₹2,829.44 lakhs versus ₹3,309.27 lakhs (down ~14.5%), translating to EPS of ₹9.13 vs ₹10.67. The Quartz Surfaces segment continues to be the main profit driver, while the Granites segment reported a segment loss. Statutory auditors S. Daga & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report. The Board also appointed Mr. Gautam Damodar Sawang (retired IPS officer, former DGP of Andhra Pradesh) as Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for 3 years. The 34th AGM is scheduled for September 10, 2025, with book closure from September 4–10, 2025.
Mixed picture for shareholders — consolidated profitability remains healthy and driven by the Quartz Surfaces business, but year-on-year revenue and profit are both declining. The standalone entity continues to post losses, and the Granite segment remains in the red, which investors should track closely. The new independent director brings strong governance experience but is unlikely to move the stock in the near term.
