Polycab reported record results for FY25, with annual revenue crossing ₹22,400 crore, up 24% YoY, beating its Project Leap FY26 target of ₹20,000 crore a year early. FY25 EBITDA rose 19% to ₹2,960 crore (13.2% margin) and PAT grew 13% to ₹2,046 crore, crossing ₹2,000 crore for the first time. Q4 was even stronger: revenue up 25% YoY at ₹6,986 crore, EBITDA up 35%, and PAT up 33% at ₹734 crore, with PAT margin expanding to 10.5%. The Wires & Cables business grew 18% for the year (holding 26-27% market share), FMEG grew 29% and reached its first profitable quarter, while the EPC segment grew 143%. Net cash strengthened to ₹2,460 crore and the board proposed a ₹35 per share dividend.
Strong across-the-board growth with margin expansion, market share gains, and a healthy net cash position should support positive investor sentiment. The proposed dividend increase signals confidence in cash flows, though FY25 PAT growth of 13% lagged revenue growth, partly reflecting margin pressures in earlier quarters.
