Polycab India reported strong Q1 FY27 results. Consolidated revenue from operations rose 39% YoY to Rs 82,097 million (vs Rs 59,060 million). Profit after tax grew 33% to Rs 7,967 million (vs Rs 5,997 million). EPS was Rs 52.09 versus Rs 39.36. Wires and Cables remained the dominant segment with revenue of Rs 72,018 million. FMEG and EPC also posted healthy growth. Auditor B S R and Co issued an unmodified limited review opinion. Company paid a final dividend of Rs 47 per share (Rs 7,080 million total) approved at the 30 June AGM. Standalone Q1 FY26 figures were restated due to amalgamation of wholly owned subsidiary Uniglobus Electricals. New EPR recycling rules noted but impact not yet estimable.
Strong broad-based growth reinforces Polycab's market leadership. Restated prior year numbers and pending EPR rules are minor uncertainties, but the overall trajectory stays positive.
