Polychem Ltd's Board, at its meeting on August 6, 2025, approved the Standalone and Consolidated Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26). On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose to about Rs. 897 lakhs from Rs. 620 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (around 45% YoY growth), while standalone net profit jumped to about Rs. 181 lakhs from Rs. 58 lakhs (over 3x YoY). On a consolidated basis, revenue was nearly flat at roughly Rs. 1,275 lakhs versus Rs. 1,294 lakhs a year ago, but consolidated net profit more than doubled to about Rs. 336 lakhs from Rs. 151 lakhs. The big profit boost comes largely from a gain of about Rs. 262 lakhs in standalone (and over Rs. 334 lakhs consolidated) on fair-value remeasurement of investments booked under 'Other Income'. The statutory auditor M/s. Nayan Parikh & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications. The company operates in three segments: Property Development, Specialty Chemicals, and Manufacturing/Trading of Capacitors.
Strong profit growth both standalone and consolidated, but a large chunk of the jump is driven by a non-operating fair-value investment gain rather than core business performance, so shareholders should look through to underlying earnings before reacting. The clean auditor's review and the diversified three-segment mix are positives, while the flat consolidated revenue suggests core demand has not yet picked up meaningfully.
