Polychem Ltd reported strong audited results for FY 2025-26. Consolidated total income rose to Rs. 7,731.66 Lakhs from Rs. 4,390.30 Lakhs (76% growth), while net profit surged to Rs. 2,984.27 Lakhs from Rs. 384.19 Lakhs (677% growth). EPS stood at Rs. 403.87 per share. However, the exceptional profit was largely driven by a Rs. 3,027.54 Lakhs gain from disposal of property, plant and equipment. The company recommended a dividend of Rs. 20 per share (200%) for shareholders' approval. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. -88.54 Lakhs, raising concerns about cash generation despite high profitability. Statutory auditors Nayan Parikh & Co. issued unmodified opinions with no going concern issues.
The stock shows strong profit growth, but investors should note that profitability is heavily inflated by a one-time property disposal gain. The negative operating cash flow despite high net profit is a red flag for sustainable performance.
