Before the sale, he held 34,85,283 shares (55.78% stake); after the sale, his holding has come down to 32,94,746 shares (52.74%). The company has an equity share capital of ₹6.24 crore divided into 62,48,240 shares of ₹10 each.
Despite trimming his stake by about 3 percentage points, the promoter continues to hold a comfortable majority of 52.74%, so control and management of the company remain unaffected.
