Prabhu Steel Industries' Board approved standalone unaudited financial results for Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26 ending September 30, 2025, along with an unmodified Limited Review Report from auditor Manish N Jain & Co. Q2 revenue from operations fell sharply to ₹264.59 lakhs from ₹406.58 lakhs a year ago, a drop of about 35% YoY, while H1 revenue grew modestly to ₹745.20 lakhs from ₹662.53 lakhs. The company returned to profitability with Q2 PAT of ₹13.32 lakhs (vs a loss of ₹59.86 lakhs YoY) and H1 PAT of ₹22.13 lakhs (vs a loss of ₹72.78 lakhs YoY), translating to EPS of ₹1.86 for the quarter and ₹3.09 for the half year. Total income for H1 stood at ₹782.26 lakhs with profit before tax of ₹29.60 lakhs, and the balance sheet remains lean with total equity of ₹1,082.03 lakhs and borrowings under ₹170 lakhs.
The swing back to profit from a prior-year loss is encouraging for shareholders, but the steep Q2 revenue drop and marginally negative operating cash flow of ₹(0.78) lakhs indicate the recovery is uneven. This remains a very small steel trading company, so results can swing sharply quarter to quarter and the stock is likely to see limited reaction.
