Prakash Industries reported Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 1,032 cr vs Rs 1,037 cr YoY, nearly flat. EBITDA rose to Rs 154 cr from Rs 144 cr, with margin expanding to 14.9% from 13.9%. However, PAT fell to Rs 71 cr from Rs 91 cr YoY as the company moved to the new tax regime, losing Section 80-IA benefits. Board also appointed SGAJ and Associates as new statutory auditors for 5 years from the 45th AGM.
EBITDA margin improvement is positive, but lower PAT due to tax regime change may pressure near-term earnings.
