Prakash Steelage Limited, a manufacturer of stainless steel tubes and pipes, submitted its unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. Revenue from operations jumped to Rs. 2,445.12 lakhs in Q3 FY26 from Rs. 1,024.20 lakhs in Q3 FY25 — a sharp year-on-year growth of roughly 138%. However, the bottom line weakened: net profit fell to Rs. 33.46 lakhs from Rs. 67.58 lakhs in the same quarter last year, and the profit before tax margin compressed sharply from about 9.2% to around 1.8%. For the nine-month period, revenue rose to Rs. 6,504.01 lakhs (vs Rs. 5,526.20 lakhs) while net profit declined to Rs. 80.24 lakhs from Rs. 103.80 lakhs. Statutory auditor Pipara & Co LLP issued an unqualified limited review report.
Strong top-line growth is a positive, but sharply lower profitability and margin compression suggest cost pressures are eating into earnings. Mixed signals for shareholders — the stock may react cautiously until clarity on margin recovery emerges.
