Praveg Ltd reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹3,750.28 lakh in Q2 FY26, up about 19% YoY from ₹3,143.95 lakh, while H1 FY26 revenue rose around 40% YoY to ₹7,689.43 lakh. Despite revenue growth, the company swung to a consolidated loss before tax of ₹891.15 lakh in Q2 FY26 from a profit of ₹231.34 lakh a year earlier, with H1 FY26 loss at ₹1,434.81 lakh. Net loss for H1 FY26 was ₹1,496.61 lakh against a profit of ₹216.64 lakh in H1 FY25, and standalone H1 loss was steeper at ₹1,670.71 lakh. Total expenses surged roughly 62% in H1, far outpacing the ~40% revenue growth, and the core Events, Exhibitions & Hospitality segment posted a Q2 loss of ₹812.15 lakh versus a profit of ₹231.28 lakh a year ago. On the positive side, consolidated operating cash flow turned positive at ₹691.04 lakh (from a ₹1,968.22 lakh outflow), though total borrowings jumped sharply to about ₹4,020 lakh from ₹1,015 lakh at March-end.
The sharp swing to losses despite revenue growth is a clear negative for the stock, signaling margin compression and weak performance in the core hospitality segment; rising debt adds to near-term pressure even as cash flow has improved.
