CRISIL Ratings upgraded the long-term credit rating of Premier Energies and three subsidiaries (Premier Energies Photovoltaic, Premier Energies International, and Premier Energies Global Environment) from A/Positive to A+/Positive. Short-term rating of A1 was reaffirmed. Bank loan facilities enhanced: Premier Energies to Rs 300 crore (from Rs 50 crore), Premier Energies International to Rs 1562.48 crore (from Rs 1067.55 crore), and Premier Energies Global Environment to Rs 5581.01 crore (from Rs 443.78 crore). Premier Green Aluminium got a fresh A/Positive long-term rating.
Positive signal: higher rating lowers borrowing costs and boosts lender confidence; the upgrade reflects strong financial health and supports the stock outlook.
