Premier Polyfilm has been fined ₹50,000 (₹59,000 with GST) by the NSE for a 10-day delay in uploading its Integrated XBRL filing containing Related Party Transaction details under Regulation 23(9) of SEBI LODR rules, for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company says the delay was caused by a technical glitch on the NSE portal and points out that the same filing was submitted to BSE on time on November 10, 2025. The Board reviewed the matter on January 12, 2026, and has applied to NSE for a waiver of the fine, which is currently being considered. To prevent a repeat, the Board has approved a two-level verification system and will also email filings to NSE on the same day as a backup.
This is a minor, routine compliance issue with a small financial penalty (₹59,000) unlikely to materially affect the company's operations or stock price. Investors should note that if the waiver is denied and the company fails to pay, NSE could escalate to freezing promoter shareholdings or shifting trading to the Z category — but this is unlikely given the company has already completed the filing and is cooperating.
