Premier Polyfilm Limited has reported its unaudited standalone results for Q1 FY26. Revenue from operations fell about 10% year-on-year to ₹7,444 lakhs (from ₹8,279 lakhs in Q1 FY25), and total income stood at ₹7,497 lakhs. Despite the top-line dip, net profit grew roughly 7% to ₹600 lakhs (from ₹559 lakhs), and EPS came in at ₹0.57 versus ₹0.53. EBITDA margin expanded by around 200 basis points as overall expenses fell faster than revenue, and finance costs also declined. The company has an ongoing GST dispute disclosed in Note 8, and the statutory auditor issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Margin expansion and profit growth despite a revenue decline are positives, but the fall in top-line and pending GST dispute are concerns. The stock could react cautiously—the earnings beat on profitability is offset by weaker sales momentum.
