Prerna Infrabuild Ltd reported strong profit growth for FY 2025-26 ending March 31, 2026. Consolidated PAT grew 137% to Rs. 309.09 lakhs from Rs. 130.55 lakhs in the prior year, while standalone PAT jumped 141% to Rs. 323.59 lakhs. However, operating cash flow turned sharply negative at Rs. 475.12 lakhs (standalone) and Rs. 3,475.72 lakhs (consolidated), a major deterioration from positive cash flows of Rs. 5,421.85 lakhs and Rs. 6,797.67 lakhs respectively in FY 2024-25. Inventories nearly doubled to Rs. 6,612.57 lakhs from Rs. 3,526.77 lakhs, indicating significant cash tied up in unsold inventory. The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, and the CFO confirmed the same.
Despite robust profit growth, the company faces serious liquidity concerns with negative operating cash flows and ballooning inventories. Shareholders should monitor if this cash drain continues as it may strain the company's financial health and future dividend capability.
